What we are sharing in the gallery are featured structures and facilities that I3D’s principal engineer has personally performed the design, calculations, construction administration, structural observations/ inspections. The scope was performed as the lead project engineer or both project manager and lead engineer . Though not the current projects with I3D, they are testimony to the level and professional design, production and capability of services that is provided with I3D as your design professional.

KCATA – East Village Transit Center

ACHITECTURAL CUSTOMIZATION: Performed structural design for a dual-structural system using 2-directional steel moment frames and reinforced (CMU) concrete masonry unit shear walls. Special features include a large exterior 14-ft cantilever overhang integrated into the building framing system, and an 8-foot/2-direction roof overhangs with multiple level clear-story storefronts. The entire building is set atop of a single concrete mat foundation set on (5) five-feet of structural fill.
